The Virgin of Bolnuevo goes down to her beach

The fishing town of Bolnuevo (Mazarrón) lived yesterday the big day of its Miracle festivities. Although without the traditional pilgrimage, due to the pandemic, the devotees were able to transfer the image of the Virgin from her hermitage (in the photo) to the beach, where a mass was celebrated. The carving toured the main streets of Bolnuevo, in an atmosphere of celebration where there was no shortage of petal showers and typical songs.
